We are a dynamic and growing e-commerce company specializing in products and services. We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to join our team and lead the development of custom Shopify solutions. This role involves working on various projects, including integrating booking systems, handling deposits and payments, and creating automated workflows without relying on Shopify Flow. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations.
- Integrate third-party services like Stripe to handle payments and store credit card information securely.
- Automate workflows using cron jobs and webhooks.
- Customize and enhance existing Shopify themes and apps.
- Create and manage custom notifications via email and SMS using services like SendGrid and Twilio.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
- Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify and e-commerce trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in developing custom Shopify apps and themes.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Experience with Shopify's APIs and using Shopify CLI.
- Proficient in integrating and customizing payment gateways, particularly Stripe.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and webhooks.
- Experience with cron jobs for task automation.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Liquid.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms and technologies.
- Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
