We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with over three years of accounting experience in the logistics industry, combined with expertise in Odoo software. This role involves controlling, managing, and verifying financial transactions to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accounting operations related to logistics and supply chain activities.
Utilize Odoo software to manage financial workflows, including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and inventory cost tracking.
Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and ensure accurate general ledger maintenance.
Monitor and analyze financial transactions related to freight charges, warehousing, and transportation costs.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and organizational policies.
Facilitate month-end and year-end closing processes.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and reporting using Odoo.
Assist in audits and implement internal controls to maintain financial integrity.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of accounting experience in the logistics industry.
Proven expertise in Odoo software, including configuration and process optimization for accounting functions.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and other accounting tools.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Familiarity with logistics workflows, including freight management, inventory, and warehousing.
