We are seeking a talented and creative Mid-Level Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling through video, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality content. You will work closely with our production team to edit a variety of projects, including promotional videos, social media content, commercials, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit video content for various platforms, ensuring a high standard of quality and creativity.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project requirements and desired outcomes.
- Implement graphics, animations, special effects, and sound effects to enhance the final product.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all edited videos.
- Perform color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production tasks as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends and techniques to continually bring fresh ideas to the table.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative storytelling ability.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and best practices for online video distribution.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 1.5-2 years of professional video editing experience.
