Senior PHP Developer

Job Description: Ideal candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science with 3 – 4 years programming experience. Preferably have worked as a Developer in a team based environment and have strong concepts in object oriented programming.

He/She should also have knowledge of standards for application development with focus on performance & quality. He/she will be responsible for

Design and develop software application based on the description of business logic in various software languages
Deliver projects on-time and to specification with an appropriate level of quality
Collaborate with product managers, customers and prospects to gather and define requirements
Develop automated functional tests
Carry out tasks and produce required results with minimal supervision
Analytical & Problem solving skills
Good written and verbal English communication skills
Experience of working in an offshore software development environment is a plus

Required Skills:

The candidate must have expertise in developing n-tier applications using PHP frameworks and have the experience of working on the following technologies:

3-4 years of working experience in PHP frameworks - CodeIgnitor, CakePHP and Zend
Familiarity with design patterns and MVC Architecture
Knowledge of MySQL, Java Script, JQuery, HTML, Ajax, WordPress and Joomla
Demonstrated ability to analyze technical requirements and develop well-structured code
Solid understanding of OOP concepts with strong analytical and problem solving skills
