The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales strategy, building and nurturing client relationships, and meeting (or exceeding) revenue targets specifically tied to GMB-enabled solutions. This role requires a proven leader with a strategic mindset, deep understanding of digital marketing landscapes, and a track record of closing high-value deals. The ideal candidate will confidently navigate the evolving digital ecosystem, consultative-ly educate clients, and advocate for GMB as a critical component of their marketing mix.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership:

  • Develop, refine, and execute a comprehensive sales strategy focused on GMB campaigns and related digital marketing offerings.
  • Set ambitious yet achievable quarterly and annual sales targets, monitoring performance and adjusting tactics to ensure consistent revenue growth.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, fostering long-term, consultative relationships with prospects and existing clients.
  • Understand client pain points, objectives, and industry dynamics to recommend tailored
  • GMB-focused marketing solutions that deliver measurable ROI.

Team Development & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of sales executives, ensuring consistent professional development and performance management.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align sales initiatives with product roadmaps, ensure smooth campaign launches, and maintain high client satisfaction.

Market & Product Expertise:

  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, best practices, and industry developments, particularly those related to Google My Business and local search optimization.
  • Translate market insights into actionable sales tactics, identifying new revenue streams, competitive differentiators, and value propositions.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Utilize CRM tools and analytics dashboards to track leads, opportunities, and pipeline health.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, deliver regular performance reports, and provide strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role, preferably in digital marketing or advertising solutions.

Technical & Market Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of digital marketing channels, with particular expertise in local SEO, GMB optimization, and multi-location campaign management.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and familiarity with marketing automation and analytics tools.

Leadership & Communication Skills:

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the capacity to influence key stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Strategic, Results-Driven Mindset:

  • Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding revenue goals and KPI targets.
  • Strategic thinking skills and agility to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving digital environment.
