What You Bring to the Role:
Technical Skills:
- 5 – 6 years of experience & exposure in AWS, DevOps & Azure technologies
- Familiarity with programming languages, such as Python, C#, Ruby, Go, Java, or JavaScript, is advantageous.
- Understanding of web technologies, including HTTP/HTTPS protocols, DNS, and web servers.
- Familiarity with CLI in a Unix/Linux environment
- Awareness of basic virtualization concepts and technologies, such as virtual machines (VMs) and containers. Familiarity with basic cloud computing concepts would be helpful, although not mandatory.
- PowerShell experience
Job Requirements:
- Expert English-speaking & writing skills
- Expert in observing interview preparation sessions with our consultants and the actual interviews themselves to identify the consultants’ areas of challenge while devising and implementing a documented plan for immediate improvement
- Ability to recognize gaps in the business as it pertains to interview coaching and consultant success, make recommendations for programs or initiatives to address said identified gap, create and run said program/initiative, and finally, track success and intended outcome of said initiative, pivoting as necessary if desired result is not present
- Ability to read, interpret, understand, and action upon company metric and performance reporting
You would be coaching consultants in:
- Key technical areas the market is recurringly asking about on interviews specific to each of our technologies (key technical questions and concepts that come up frequently)
- Studying job descriptions to make observations about potential end client pain points and how to speak to those during an interview
- Studying historic interview questions we may have per technology or per end client from past interview
- Speaking to the resumes, giving highly details narratives/descriptions of their past work and contributions
- Giving highly effective “elevator pitches” to the interview question: “Tell me about you.”
- How to run a technical production environment in a best practice way
- How to run testing in a technical environment in a best practice way
- Common situational and behavioral questions
- Presenting best-in-class soft skills, selling skills, and actively-engaging-the-interviewer skills
- History of holding folks accountable
- History of or the ability to give documented mock interviews with feedback and follow up homework assignment based on observed areas of challenge
- History of given your students documented homework assignments with due dates and intended outcomes based on
- History of giving coaching on both an individual basis and in group settings
- High competence in accurate note taking, documenting, and recapping meetings in writing, as well as documenting results in writing
- Written documentation driven
- Highly organized and competent with Outlook, Outlook calendar, Excel, Word, etc.
- Extremely reliable and available the full 8 hours daily, contactable/ responsive within a 20-minute SLA via any communication platforms (Outlook email, Skype, Teams, etc.)
- Extremely reliable internet connection and camera (you will be on camera all day, thus also must present professionally)
- 4+ Years working as an interview coach along with ability to mentor technical resources on interviewing techniques
- Experience working in consulting or staffing environment
