Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
Collaborate with design and UX teams to implement website layouts and user interfaces.
Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and services into WordPress websites.
Optimize WordPress websites for performance, security, and search engine optimization (SEO).
Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintenance of existing websites.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting them with problem-solving and code reviews.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in WordPress development.
Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix any bugs or issues before deployment.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and timelines.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve overall development processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites or applications.
Expertise in WordPress theme and plugin development, including custom post types, custom fields, and taxonomies.
Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, and database management.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows (e.g., Agile).
Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and tools for WordPress websites.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
