Solar Sales Associate

We are looking for a passionate solar sales associate to join our growing solar installation company. As a solar sales associate, you should be able to meet and communicate with customers over the phone as well as at the site locations. Besides, you should also be able to suggest solar systems to customers based on their needs and budgets. Also, you should be able to arrange product demos.

As a Solar Sales Associate, you should have complete knowledge of various solar equipment and systems. Moreover, you should be able to provide customers with quotes, shipping charges, and any other tax related information. You should also be able to keep the customers up-to-date about any promotional offers and launches.

To be able to perform in this job role, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for solar energy, and a solid background in sales. Furthermore, you should be able to work independently and have an approachable personality. You should also be willing to travel to different locations and work at flexible hours. A successful candidate should have proven work experience in the Sales department and an ability to provide excellent customer service.

Solar Sales Associate Responsibilities:

Meeting with customers in-store and out at site locations.
Providing customers with accurate order details and quotes.
Generating and contacting potential customers.
Informing customers about any promotional offers.
Demonstrating company solar products in a working environment.
Selecting solar energy products and systems to best suit the customer’s needs and budget.
Preparing or reviewing designs for the customer’s solar installation.
Creating fully customized energy packagers for large-scale solar installations.
Providing customers with quotes, sales orders, shipping information, and tax credit information.
Providing customers or dealers with information on various solar systems and equipment available in the store.
Providing after-sales service including courtesy calls and site visits.
Following up on sales quotes from other members of the sales team.
Completing sales order paperwork.
Generating potential leads for new accounts.
Arranging solar installations for customers.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Solar Sales Associate or a similar role in the Sales department.
In-depth knowledge of various solar equipment, products and installations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel and work at flexible hours.
Basic knowledge of sales and Office software.
Ability to offer excellent customer service.
Ability to work independently.
