The position will support to optimize the organization’s websites for relevant keywords and generate direct traffic to the websites’ pages so that the organizational information get promoted and be at the top of search engine ranking. Also this position will be responsible for social media optimization by focusing on driving traffic through social bookmarking, video, blogs, photo sharing and other online communities. Thus increasing the outreach of the organization

Responsibilities and Duties

Develop a social media marketing strategy for short-medium & and long-term.
Develop and maintain a social media posting calendar on Excel, which is accessible by management & staff.
Create and design interactive content for all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter)
Provide digital campaign metrics and engagement reporting of all platforms monthly.
Promote and develop hashtag trends based on the organization\\'s mandate.
Extract key messages from research, seminars, op-eds, and press releases for dissemination on social media.
Ensure live tweets & content posts on all platforms during the events.
Develop pre-event, during event & post-event strategies in consultation with the management, respective units, and donors.
Develop strategy for monetization on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Ensure timely content creation and moderation through reviews from the management.
Timely cover, record, and post the electronic media briefings & talk shows engagement of the SPDI management and staff or as required.
Develop & create campaigns for Twitter Spaces on Monthly Basis in consultation with the management & research units.
Design templates for social media dissemination in consultation with the management and concerned research units.
Provide hashtag analysis to the staff after each event.
Carry out meetings with other units on a routine basis for social media strategy.

Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) is a leading policy think tank that has been in operation since 1992. Sustainable Development Policy Institute's main responsibility in the mandate is to conduct policy advice and policy oriented research. The other part of the mandate is concerned with the implementation of policies and programs, strengthening the civil society, disseminating research findings and contributing to the building up the national research capacity and infrastructure. Hence, SDPI in its mandate differs from other think tanks, in that it will not only recommend but also help implement.SDPI defines sustainable development as the enhancement of peace, social justice and well-being within and across generations. SDPI produces knowledge that can enhance the capacity of government to make informed policy decisions and to engage civil society on issues of public interest. The Institute acts as both a generator of original research on sustainable development issues and as an information resource for concerned individuals and institutions. SDPI's function is thus two-fold: an advisory role fulfilled through research, policy advice and advocacy; and an enabling role realized through providing other individuals and organizations with resource materials and training. SDPI's research program is multi-disciplinary and problem-oriented. It is an iterative and flexible program that evolves and changes with policy needs, research capacity and interest.
