Responsibilities:

Write compelling and optimized video titles, descriptions, and tags to improve search visibility and attract more viewers.
Conduct keyword research specific to YouTube to identify high-traffic search terms and integrate them effectively into content.
Create engaging video scripts and outlines that align with our channel's voice and content strategy.
Develop content ideas that are optimized for YouTube's algorithm, focusing on trending topics and audience interests.
Analyze video performance and provide insights to improve SEO strategies, including click-through rates (CTR) and watch time.
Collaborate with the video production team to ensure content is engaging, informative, and optimized for YouTube SEO.
Optimize video thumbnails, ensuring they are visually appealing and encourage high click-through rates.
Stay up-to-date with the latest YouTube SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends.
Monitor and report on the performance of videos using YouTube Analytics and other relevant tools.
Suggest strategies to increase subscriber count, video views, and overall channel growth through effective content optimization.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Content Writer with a focus on YouTube SEO, including a portfolio of optimized YouTube content.
Strong understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, SEO principles, and content ranking factors.
Ability to conduct YouTube-specific keyword research and integrate findings into content creation.
Excellent writing skills with a strong command of grammar, style, and tone suitable for video content.
Experience with YouTube Analytics and other tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or similar for tracking and optimizing video performance.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate content ideas that resonate with the target audience and align with trending topics.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the content and production teams.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
