As a Chinese Translator at STARWIN, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication gaps between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking individuals or organizations. Your fluency in both languages will enable you to convert written and verbal content seamlessly, ensuring that the message is accurately conveyed. With a strong emphasis on written communication and attention to detail, you will be responsible for translating documents, interpreting conversations, and assisting in various communication tasks. In this role, you will also manage a team of 100 individuals, guiding and supporting them to enhance their translation skills and overall productivity, while ensuring that all translations meet the highest quality standards. Your ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a focus on deadlines will be essential as you contribute to STARWINs mission of delivering clear and effective communication across language barriers.
Responsibilities

Translate written documents from Chinese to English and vice versa, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all translations.
Interpret spoken communications during meetings or events, facilitating clear dialogue for all parties involved.
Review and revise translations completed by team members, providing feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
Assign tasks and manage project timelines to ensure all translation projects are completed on schedule.
Conduct training sessions to enhance team members' translation skills and knowledge of best practices.
Collaborate with stakeholders to fully understand context and requirements for each translation project.
Utilize specialized translation software and tools to improve efficiency and maintain consistency across projects.
Monitor team performance and implement strategies for continual improvement within the translation department.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of cultural nuances and idiomatic expressions in both languages to enrich translations.
Develop guidelines and procedures for the translation process, enhancing workflow and productivity.
