Sputnik Footwear, a retailer, is looking for a ‘Digital & Performance Marketing Lead’ based out of their Karachi office. The incumbent of this position is expected to devise and lead delivery of our brand’s social media strategy to maximize in-store footfall as well as generate e-commerce sales through cutting-edge advertising campaigns and attractive and effective website pages.

The incumbent is required to deliver on the expectations of senior management and is expected to effectively lead the Junior Marketing Manager, Graphics Designer, Customer Services and Ecommerce Fulfilment Analyst to design and execute digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications/characteristics:

Minimum 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Digital Marketer within the fashion retail industry or within a social media agency providing relevant services to fashion retail brands – prior experience within footwear and/or apparel will be considered beneficial
Solid command over the latest trends in the digital marketing landscape with extensive knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Whatsapp and all other relevant pages from a commercial perspective
Evident knowledge of the latest best practices that are prevalent in ecommerce – the interview will be focused around examining this in detail and candidates will be required to provide evidence of achievement in this
Must be able to demonstrate evidence of high energy and quick response time with an enterprise-first mindset based on the rapidly evolving environment the candidate is required to work in
Visible passion for digital marketing, including expertise in performance marketing
A strong educational background within Marketing with a strong preference for a focus on social media sciences
Strong appreciation of the need to extract maximum cooperation from stakeholders, many of whom possess limited levels of literacy is essential
Take ownership of developing a rapport with marketing teams of malls to maximize visibility on their digital media platforms
Be able to develop and follow through on a marketing calendar highlighting marketing plans for the brand
Good references are preferred for this position
