Data Entry Operator

An established medium-sized footwear retailer is looking for an ‘Data Entry Operator’ based out of their Karachi office. The incumbent of this position is expected to help carry out physical counting of stock units during internal audits covering the domains of inventory, cash, salary, procurement and bank reconciliations across all our retail stores and the head office. The incumbent is required to follow guidelines provided by the Internal Audit Manager and work under the supervision of Junior Internal Auditor. The incumbent is expected to be physically fit and possess a long concentration-span to maximize accuracy. The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications/characteristics:

Must be able to demonstrate high integrity with an enterprise-first mindset
Visible passion for critically analyzing potential loopholes, maximizing transparency and curbing potential fraudulent activities
The candidate is expected to work as one of two office assistants, a junior auditor and two interns with all reporting to the Internal Audit Manager
Must be comfortable operating a computer and barcode scanners
Strong appreciation of the need to extract maximum cooperation from stakeholders, many of whom possess limited levels of literacy is essential
Must be a team player who is punctual
Take ownership of developing reports for the perusal of the Internal Audit Manager as well as senior management
Good references and own bike are preferred for this position
