SONET ENGINEERING is a leading firm in the switch-gear/electrical industry, committed to excellence and innovation. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is critical to ensuring the financial integrity and efficiency of our operations.

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including GAAP and other relevant accounting standards. Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory documents.

Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.

Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting function.
