As a Sales Executive at Packaging Company, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and revenue growth in the packaging industry. You will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients, building relationships, and presenting packaging solutions that meet their specific needs. The Sales Executive will work closely with the sales team and management to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition:

  • Identify and research potential clients in the packaging industry, including manufacturers, retailers, and distributors.
  • Develop a strategic plan to approach and acquire new clients.

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Understand their packaging requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest packaging materials, trends, and technologies.
  • Be able to educate clients on the benefits and features of your company's packaging products.

Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Clearly articulate the value proposition of your packaging solutions.

Quotations and Pricing:

  • Generate accurate quotations based on client specifications and pricing guidelines.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals.

Market Research:

  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Use this information to refine your sales approach and strategies.

Sales Targets:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company.
  • Report on sales progress regularly to the sales manager.

Customer Service:

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction with the packaging products and services.

Sales Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions, sales calls, and sales orders.
  • Prepare regular sales reports for management.

Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with the sales team, marketing, and other departments to align sales efforts with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and industry trends is a plus.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings.
