Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and integrate responsive Shopify themes using:
- PSD to HTML conversions
- HTML to Shopify theme development
- Figma to Shopify theme design
- Implement extensive JavaScript and jQuery functionality for interactive elements.
- Develop, test, and optimize UI web applications for an enhanced user experience.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate dynamic content and features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code; build reusable components and libraries.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and maintain responsive design best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
- Experience with Shopify theme development and Liquid templating.
- Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and tools (e.g., React, Vue.js, Webpack).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
