About Us

SkillReactor is a UK-based venture-backed startup currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Polyglot) who is ready to work on exciting challenges in a fast-paced environment.

This opportunity will allow you to work in an early-stage funded startup with excellent potential for growth and a competitive salary. You will be working directly with the founders and will be responsible for leading the full-stack development efforts.

Our Current Tech Stack

Primary: Typescript, Node.JS, React, AWS (CDK)

Additional: Vue.js, Angular, Python, Java

The Role

This is an exciting fully-remote role where you will be responsible for leading the development efforts of all our platforms and projects, working closely with the founders to solve a wide range of challenges, helping execute the technical vision, and having a direct impact on the growth of the business.

You will be actively involved with architecture design as well as hands-on implementation. You will also be responsible for driving innovation, implementing new features, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform, and ensuring the smooth execution of all our projects.

What you’ll be doing:

Architect new features and functionalities
Lead and implement all software development projects
Drive innovation and implement new features to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform
Work independently to improve and maintain our existing systems
Act as a mentor for junior engineers and promote growth opportunities for the team.

Our Preferred Candidate

5+ years of software development experience
Hands-on experience with our Primary tech stack
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to drive solutions
A strong understanding of system architecture and design patterns
Embraces changes and adapts quickly
Eager to learn and explore new technologies
Mentors and supports junior developers
Excellent technical communication skills

Nice to Haves

Agile project management experience
Experience leading a team of developers
Previously worked in a startup environment

Location

The company is based in London (UK) but this role will be fully remote.
