Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical psychology.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical psychology students during their practicum and internship.
  • Conduct research in clinical psychology and contribute to scholarly publications.
  • Provide clinical supervision to mental health professionals.
  • Participate in departmental activities, including curriculum development and program evaluation.
  • Contribute to community outreach and mental health awareness programs.

Qualifications:

  • MS/M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university.
  • Licensed/Registered Clinical Psychologist with relevant professional experience.
  • Strong teaching, research, and clinical supervision skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven research experience with publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Skills:

  1. Teaching & Supervision: Effective teaching methodologies, curriculum development, student assessment, and clinical supervision.
  2. Clinical Expertise: Proficiency in various psychotherapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, psychodynamic therapy, family therapy).
  3. Research Skills: Ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and publish findings in reputable journals.
  4. Ethical Practice: Adherence to ethical principles and professional standards of practice in clinical psychology.
  5. Interpersonal & Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  6. Professional Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
