Oversee the daily operations of utility services, including power/electrical, water, gas, heating, ventilation, workshop, and air conditioning (AC).
Monitor utility usage, ensuring efficiency and identifying areas for improvement.
Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs of utility systems to avoid interruptions in service.
Work with engineers, technicians, and contractors to troubleshoot and repair issues.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to utility services.
Develop and implement safety protocols for the operation of utility systems.
Develop and manage the utility budget, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Work to reduce energy and water usage, implement sustainability initiatives, and reduce operational costs.
Maintain relationships with external vendors to ensure reliable service delivery.
Prepare reports on utility usage, costs, and savings for senior management.
Prepare and execute contingency plans in case of utility service interruptions or emergencies.
Lead response efforts during crises, such as power outages or system failures.
Manage and train a team of utility operators, technicians, and other support staff.
Oversee the performance and development of team members to ensure efficient operations.
