Healthcare Management Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Radiographer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive background in radiographic imaging and patient care to ensure the efficacy and safety of imaging services provided to our patients. With at least five years of experience in the field, you will not only perform advanced radiographic techniques but also take on a leadership role, managing a team of five radiographic professionals. Your contributions will involve maintaining high standards of quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and fostering a safe and effective imaging environment for both patients and staff. Your expertise in anatomy and physiology will be essential as you guide your team in delivering the best possible care while adhering to radiation safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of radiographers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality imaging services.
Perform complex radiographic imaging techniques and interpret results to assist in accurate diagnoses.
Oversee quality assurance processes for imaging procedures, ensuring all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
Conduct regular quality checks on X-ray images and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and protocols.
Implement and maintain effective patient positioning techniques to optimize imaging results while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Collaborate with medical staff to develop and adjust imaging protocols based on patient needs and clinical objectives.
Utilize image processing software to enhance the quality of radiographic images and facilitate accurate assessments.
Monitor and ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols, continually assessing risks and making improvements as necessary.
Stay updated with industry advancements and regulatory changes to maintain compliance and improve imaging practices.
Document and maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and quality control checks for auditing purposes.
