ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION

Based at SIF field office Hyderabad, Sindh. The watchman works under the direct supervision of the Log Officer. He has to ensure adequate safety of SIF staff, assets, and office premises

He:

  • Ensure adequate safety of SIF staff, assets, premises and vehicles.
  • Participate in the implementation of Security Guidelines and Watchman’s Regulations.
  • Support drivers and staff when loading and offloading vehicles if it does not impair safety measures.
  • Ensure any additional task requested by his/her supervisor does not impair safety measures.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the compound.

 The employee can also be requested to ensure other tasks upon request from his/her direct supervisor or Project Manager.

MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

Objective 1: Security of the premises Activities:

  • Ensure security measures of the office building (gates, doors and lights switched off during the night)
  • Ensure adequate access control according to Guards Regulation, SIF rules and given instructions.
  • Ensure the security of the premises and employees by guardianship and not leaving the entrance empty.
  • Give security alert in case of any emergency or direct threat by immediately reporting the to Security Focal Person of his/her base location.
  • Ensure the security of the vehicles parked outside.
  • Responsible for the security of surroundings and immediately report any specific problem, information, risk, or threat to the supervisor at the earliest.

Objective 2: Security of SIF Assets/equipment Activities:

  • Ensure the office equipment (Official systems, furniture, gadgets) is properly safe and secured.
  • Info the rm Line manager in case any Occurs to SIF AsseVehiclescle.

 Objective 3:Access control Activities:

  • Ensure adequate access control according to Guards Regulation, SIF rules and given instructions.
  • Maintain In –Our Register.
  • Checking with SIF staff before allowing any nonSIF person to cross the entrance gate
  • Support drivers and staff when loading and offloading vehicles

 Objective 4:Tools Management Activities:

  • Fill up the generator with fuel a on regular basis and document the consumption in the prescribed format.
  • Manage inverters and battery service (If needed)           
  • Managbicyclees parking, keys, and regular check and maintenance of the bicycles.        
  • Report any technical problem with equipment to the logistic team.
  • Start and Stop the generator, fuel pump, etc. (if needed, and according to schedules)   
  • Check fuel, and engine oil levels and, and refill before starting. Refill if needed.

Objective 5: Recording of sealed quotation Activities:

  • Maintaining a proper track Record of Lists of vendors for any procurement
  • Properly maintain track record of the assets

 This list is not limited; the employee may be required to perform any other task necessary and compatible with its functions assigned by supervisor and HOM.
