Data Analyst

Introduction:

SIF is likely to implement a project in Jamshoroo, Sindh and intends to hire a competent candidate for the position of “Data Analyst” to be based in Hyderabad, Sindh. Data Analyst will work under the administrative supervision of the Project Manager and technical support of Database Management staff. He/she must have experience in NGOs/INGOs handling large data sets in terms of cleaning, coding, labelling and analysis and have in hand experience in Data Analysis by using different statistical techniques using SPSS, E-Views, STATA etc.

He/she:

Will be managing all the data in the soft form related to project beneficiaries (collected during surveys and assessments and field level activities implementation.
Will be responsible for making beneficiaries' dashboards and activities and results tracking tables and reports.

Objective 1: Data Cleaning, and Analysis:

Lead data cleaning and analysis using different statistical software.
Provide feedback to the program team on data collection so that data is received without errors.
Run data quality protocols to ensure that data is reliable and accurate.
Develop a database of the project as per the project’s and donor’s requirements.
Development of a data dashboard and visualize the data on various parameters and indicators required by the donor and project.
Liaise with MEAL and the program team and support in development of database templates.
Develop/maintain beneficiaries’ count and report to the Country Office through the PMP template
Respond to the information required from the Country office MEAL Department and donors.
Add beneficiaries’ details into the MEAL MIS developed by the SIF.

Objective 2: Standards and Compliance:

Make sure that the data protection policies of SIF and, the Pakistan Government are followed.
Make sure that the devices being used for data storage and analysis are password protected.
Ensure confidentiality of the data and sharing with only relevant people through official communication.
Any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
