Senior Unity Game Developer

We are seeking a Senior Unity Game Developer with at least three years of experience to join our team at Salvay & CLV Technologies. In this role, you will translate complex client requirements into innovative and scalable technical solutions within the gaming domain. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and implementing game features using Unity3D, ensuring projects align with time, cost, and scalability factors. You will either work independently or lead a team of developers, continuously exploring and integrating new technologies and methodologies to evolve our best practices in game development. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and robust collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that our games not only meet but exceed client expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement game features using Unity3D based on client requirements throughout the full lifecycle of game development.
Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure technical solutions align with client needs and project timelines.
Optimize game performance across various platforms, ensuring robust, scalable solutions.
Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to integrate APIs and libraries effectively.
Maintain current knowledge of the latest gaming trends, techniques, and technologies to enhance game development processes and outputs.
Continuously test, debug, and refine game features to meet the high standards expected in professional game development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A minimum of three years of professional experience working with Unity in full lifecycle game development, demonstrated with a strong portfolio.
Hands-on experience primarily with C# and a high-level understanding of APIs and libraries relevant to game development.
Experience with backend technologies such as Firebase or similar platforms.
Up-to-date with the latest gaming trends, technologies, and best practices, and the ability to apply this knowledge creatively and effectively in game development.
BS degree in Computer Science, Games Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to creatively and effectively address technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English, essential for team collaboration and documentation.
