Correspondence with foreign vendors
Liaison with banks for import documents and LC opening documentation.
Liaison with Freight Forwarders, Clearing agents, insurance companies and dealing with shiping lines.
Organize import procedures, order placement and logistical operations.
Checking Pro forma and processing purchase orders
Posting GRN in ERP system
Tracking and follow up shipments
Verification, filling and keeping records of all imports documents.
Preparation of Marine insurance covers
Liaison with concerned departments for samples and ordering
Management of item master data
Preparation of reports as per management requirement.
Keeping up-to-date with SBP regulations regarding import policy.
