Overall control and management of the finance and accounting operation
• Development of financial and operational strategy and production of appropriate KPIs
• Effective cash management across the SABCON businesses
• Oversee the finance team (currently one accounts manager), set goals and objectives, and
design a framework for these to be met
• Budgeting and forecasting, including short term cash forecasting
• Interpret financial information to the CEO and recommend further courses of action
• Effective integration of the IT and accounting back-end systems for COLABS to maximise
efficiency.
• Undertaking research into pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance.
• Advising the CEO on potential investment opportunities and strategies
• Production of periodic financial reports
• Analyising costs, pricing, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the
business plans.
• Maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records
• Conduct reviews for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Liase with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
