Provide administrative support to the steel frame production team, ensuring efficient and smooth operations, accurate documentation, and timely delivery of high-quality steel frames.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
  • Manage inventory levels, track material receipts, and coordinate with suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the production team to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
  • Update and maintain production schedules, workflows, and procedures.
  • Handle internal and external communications related to production.
  • Production Planning:
  • Assist in creating production plans, schedules, and BOMs (Bills of Materials).
  • Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to ensure accurate production requirements.
  • Identify and resolve production planning issues.

Quality Control and Assurance:

  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues.

Logistics and Supply Chain:

  • Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
  • Manage shipping and receiving processes.
  • Track and resolve delivery issues.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
  • Report incidents, near misses, and hazards.
  • Participate in HSE audits and inspections.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in production administration or related field.
  • High school + diploma or equivalent required; degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in steel frame manufacturing or manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Certification in production planning, inventory management, or logistics.
  • Proficiency in CAD software or production scheduling tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with occasional site visits.
  • Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.

Working Hours:

  • Standard business hours of 12 Hour Shift (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM).
  • Overtime may be required to meet production deadlines.
