Oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Identify and implement improvements to procedures and controls.
Coordinate with departments, assist in budget presentations to the head of the department, and prepare and oversee the budget compilation process.
Prepare budget vs. actual reports every month.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and statutory financial statements.
Prepare and analyze financial reports accurately and promptly.
Assist in coordinating annual audits and quarterly review activities with external auditors.
Create, implement, and maintain comprehensive accounting policy documents to enhance clarity and consistency.
Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
Continuously assess the close process and re-engineer processes to reduce the time required to close the financial period.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Monitor and track budget vs. actual expenses for all departments.
Endorse requisitions to ensure budgetary controls.
Perform any other tasks assigned by top management.
