The Contracts Administrator plays a vital role in the procurement and contract management processes within Rozee. As a key member of the procurement team, the Contracts Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with legal standards, managing a small team of two individuals, and facilitating effective communication across departments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in contract management, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks associated with contractual agreements. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and draft various types of contracts, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Negotiate contract terms with internal departments and external business partners to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Review and update existing contracts and technical documents to reflect current practices and regulations.
  • Explain terms and conditions of contracts to managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure full understanding and compliance.
  • Analyze potential risks associated with specific contract terms and propose viable solutions to minimize exposure.
  • Stay informed about legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department to implement necessary updates.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure conditions described in contracts, such as payment schedules and shipping arrangements, are met.
  • Maintain an organized system for both physical and digital contract records to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
  • Develop and implement language standards for existing and new contracts to enhance clarity and consistency.
  • Integrate the procurement process, award contracts appropriately, and track contract performance and compliance.
  • Oversee technical aspects of contract administration, ensuring all specifications and requirements are adequately addressed.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team of two, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
  • Conduct training sessions as necessary to enhance the team's understanding of contract management processes.
