Assistant Project Architect

An Assistant Project Architect plays a pivotal role in the architectural design process, working closely with project architects and engineers to produce high-quality drawings and ensure project specifications are met. This position demands a blend of technical expertise and creativity, as the Assistant Project Architect prepares accurate architectural drawings, revises them based on design feedback, and communicates effectively with project stakeholders. As this role does not include managing a team, the focus will be on collaboration and individual contribution within a dynamic architectural environment. Responsibilities

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details, accurately reflecting project specifications and design concepts.
Revise architectural drawings as needed to incorporate design updates and constructive feedback from the design team, ensuring all changes are documented and accessible.
Ensure that all designs adhere to the relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and technical standards to maintain compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to integrate designs effectively, troubleshoot issues, and resolve discrepancies proactively.
Manage and organize project files systematically, ensuring that all architectural drawings are kept current and properly archived for easy reference.
Assist in the preparation and compilation of permit and construction documentation, contributing to a smooth transition from design to construction.
Utilize Revit and AutoCAD proficiently to create high-quality 2D and 3D designs, adapting to project requirements and client needs.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of design work, producing accurate documentation even under tight deadlines.
Participate in team meetings and collaborative sessions, sharing insights and actively contributing to project discussions to enhance design outcomes.
Continue professional development and stay updated with architectural trends, building codes, and technological advancements relevant to architectural design.
