QZ Engineering Pvt Ltd is seeking a Purchase Officer to assist the company in meeting its objectives and goals by overseeing the acquisition and procuring of various electrical and industrial goods, materials, devices, equipment, and other items for industrial projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for international procurement and sourcing of equipment, goods and services and managing vendors.
Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
Prepare cost analysis.
Managing all the POs until to be fully finished.
Coordinate with appropriate accounting staff on payment of invoices, resolving discrepancies and billing follow-up.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers and potential vendors.
Creating and maintaining database of approved vendors.
Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts).
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.
Receive shipments and organize materials as they arrive and manage its deliveries to customer.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Hands On experience in ERP software – Zoho Books (will be preferred)
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents a plus
Responsible to increase efficiency in procurement system.
