The Data Entry Officer will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in the company's databases and systems.

This role requires attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Management:

  • Enter data into the company’s databases and systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Update and maintain existing data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify and correct data where necessary.

Data Verification:

  • Review data for discrepancies or errors, and correct any incompatibilities if possible.
  • Conduct regular data verification and clean-up tasks to maintain data integrity.

Record Keeping:

  • Maintain and organize hard copy and electronic filing systems.
  • Ensure data is backed up regularly to prevent data loss.

Reporting:

  • Generate reports from the databases as required by management.
  • Assist in the preparation of data for various projects and presentations.

Compliance and Confidentiality:

  • Adhere to data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding data management.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to gather and verify data.
  • Assist other team members with data-related tasks and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a data entry or similar role.
  • Experience with data management systems and tools.

Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with data entry software and databases.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
