Quality and Cp is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality in our products. This role involves actively participating in the software development life cycle, implementing effective testing methodologies, and contributing to our commitment to excellence. The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing comprehensive test plans, executing manual test cases, and documenting any defects or issues found during testing. Successful candidates will possess strong problem-solving skills and have a proactive approach to identifying improvements in our processes and tools. In this position, the QA Engineer works closely with developers and project managers to understand project requirements and functional specifications. This collaborative environment allows the QA Engineer to provide valuable feedback and suggestions that enhance product quality and performance. Although this role does not involve managing a team, the QA Engineer is expected to take the initiative and ownership of their work, driving quality assurance efforts through effective communication and thorough documentation. With a focus on continuous learning and improvement, the QA Engineer will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities

Design and develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Execute manual tests on software applications and report defects or issues found during the testing process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expected outcomes.
Perform regression testing and verify fixes for reported defects, ensuring all changes meet quality standards.
Identify, analyze, and document defects using appropriate tracking tools, and communicate them effectively to the development team.
Participate in the planning and implementation of new projects to ensure quality requirements are incorporated from the outset.
Develop and evaluate quality assurance metrics and QA reports, using them to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance, applying them to enhance team processes.
Assist in maintaining testing environments and managing test data to ensure optimal testing conditions.
Contribute to the documentation of software specifications and quality assurance processes to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
