About the role

  • This is a hybrid role, where you will be working from our Islamabad office for 3 days a week and the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week.
  • Your working hours will be 11am – 08:00 pm Pakistan time. 
  • You will undertake the preparation and completion of a wide range of bookkeeping and assisting clients with queries. 

The successful candidate must have experience of:

  •  Recording of asset register
  •  Performing Bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
  •  Performing Payroll management
  •  Oversee client invoicing, account receivable
  •  Preparation of VAT returns for clients
  •  Preparation of Year-end accounts
  •  Preparation of SA returns
  •  Assisting accountants in data entry
  •  Serve as primary point of contact for clients on financial matters, addressing inquiries and providing financial guidance

Technical Skills / Knowledge 

  •  Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  •  Minimum 1 to 2 years of bookkeeping experience preferred
  •  Hands-on experience of accounting systems Quickbooks, XERO, DEXT and Hubdoc and Arthur.
  •  Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs ( EXCEL, Outlook, Word, Adobe)
  •  Data entry skills
  •  Ability to work to deadlines and to be flexible as regards the hours and assignments worked
  •  Ability to communicate openly and build up excellent relationships with the team and clients
