Monitoring and Surveillance
- Continuously monitor security systems, tools, and dashboards for suspicious activities or breaches.
- Respond promptly to alarms, alerts, and incidents.
- Maintain a 24/7/365 monitoring schedule to ensure uninterrupted vigilance.
Incident Response
- Investigate and document security incidents.
- Coordinate with the security operations team to contain and mitigate threats.
- Conduct forensic analysis and prepare incident reports.
Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment
- Analyze trends in security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Recommend improvements to security policies, procedures, and systems.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts to identify and address risks.
System Maintenance and Testing
- Ensure that security systems (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, surveillance cameras) are operational and updated.
- Conduct routine tests to validate system effectiveness.
- Report any system malfunctions or anomalies to relevant departments.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and industry security standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of security activities and incidents.
- Provide regular updates to management on security posture and incidents.
