As a Towing Dispatcher, you will be responsible for the following duties, applicable to all contracts held by the company, its sister companies, or any future contracts:

Utilize the dispatch portal to create and manage jobs, ensuring all relevant details are accurately entered.

Status Management:

Monitor job statuses and update them as needed if drivers do not do so.
Update job statuses in the AAA app as required.
Record updates, including changes in pickup/drop-off locations, special equipment used, member unavailability, extra time on scene, refusal to pay overage miles, and more. Ensure comments are documented in Towbook for future reference.
Contact AAA and other providers as necessary throughout the job completion process.

Customer Communication: Provide customers with estimated time of arrival (ETA) for services.

Coordination: Work closely with drivers to manage any changes in pickup or drop-off locations, ensuring smooth handling of job updates.

Overage Miles Calculation: Calculate overage miles for AAA jobs, inform members of additional charges, and confirm the payment method before job completion.

Approval Management: Obtain approval from relevant providers for any changes or additional efforts required in job execution or as requested by company management.

Job Documentation: Maintain detailed notes in the Towbook system for each job, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.

Requirements:

Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with dispatch systems, such as Towbook and the AAA app, is preferred.
Fluency in spoken English is required.
Reliability and consistency in working specified hours.
