Restaurant General Manager (RGM) will responsible to cover a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation and success of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
- Ensure effective communication with the team monthly meetings, manager’s meetings.
- Ensure obedience to company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and arrange for repairs when necessary.
- Hire, train, and supervise junior staff members, provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
- Ensure effective scheduling of staff.
- Handle disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Create a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
- Ensure record keeping in the restaurant.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor service quality and implement improvements as needed.
- Coach staff on customer service best practices.
- Interact with customers to gather feedback and suggestions.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, verification and approvals of daily expenses.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Train staff on food safety procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
- Plan and execute promotional events and campaigns.
