Conducting frequent visits to different projects/sites and to generate detail monitoring reports against each visit, keeping in view the quality of construction and to give recommendations for further improvements in every project.

Assistance in the timely completion of projects within the approved costs (PC-1/Detail Cost Estimate).
Reviewing various drawings and to ensure construction as per structural drawing/technical specifications of the project on site.
Scrutinizing of tender documents submitted by contractors and suppliers for developmental projects.
Assistance in the identification of impediments in project implementation and reporting to concerned quarters.

Feedback for future planning (i.e assist in strategic allocation and utilization of scarce resources).
Introduction of pre, mid, final and post terms monitoring and evaluation mechanism in project implementation.
Availability of updated information on the status of project activities for administrative and legal actions (if any).
Enhanced coordination among the administrative departments on the progress of physical and financial targets.
Provision of a basis for progressive and comparative bench marking of performance across the 07 Divisions of the Province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Implementation of the DPMS under the supervision of Divisional Monitoring Officer (DMO).
Assist DMO in monitoring & evaluation of ADP and PSDP (locally & foreign funded) projects in the Division.
Follow up of M&E reports in the Division in consultation with the DMO.
Preparation and submission of detail monitoring reports.
Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual progress reports.
Any other task assigned by the DMO.

Manage and implement the technical activities on the field.
Plan construction / rehabilitation activities according to project objectives time-frames and designs.
Supervise and provide guidance and technical support to other field teams.
Support and supervise daily skilled and unskilled workers / project volunteers and give them useful instruction regarding their work improvement, through coordination with the relevant skilled staff.
Providing technical guidance, training and support to individuals targeted by each project inline with the programme strategy and intended output[s].

Report to the Civil Engineer on a daily basis about progress and challenges faced.
Liaising with programme staff of other ACTED teams to ensure that information is shared and that lessons learned are developed.
Directly fix and repair damaged installations or facilities.
Participate in the elaboration of designs and BoQs when required.
Support community mobilizers and village steering committees in the identification and verification of skilled laborers.
Supervise the unloading of the material on site as well as quality and quantity of the items.

Responsible for implementation of water and sanitation projects in the field.
Assesses sites,situations and needs with regard WatHab aspects.
Prepares project proposals including descriptions,sketches,
drawings,bill of quantities (BoQs),estimation costs and implementation planning based on analysis and WatHab objectives.
Implements projects with contractors,sub-contractors,ICRC teams of technicians and or combinations of the former.

Gives technical advice to team members,field staff and daily workers working on ongoing projects.
To control and assure the Quality (QC/QA) of all the construction works as per specification.
Supervision of all project implementation at field level
Provide feedback and recommendations to high ups for improvement in output.

Prepares the necessary documentation for the request of quotations, for tendering procedures and for purchase of material.

To verify the purety of water by Water tests, i-e Turbidity test,PH of water etc.
