Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide expert clinical and technical diagnostic & medical knowledge in response to clinical/medical inquiries from external and internal customers.
Ensure accurate, timely, and appropriate verbal and written responses to unsolicited inquiries.
Perform other Medical Information-related support and expanded functions, as required by the organization, doctors and corporate clients.
Develop strong cross-functional relationships with key departments such as Medical Affairs, Clinical, Commercial, Legal, and Regulatory.
Participate in key meetings (e.g. medical meetings, and sales meetings) and business initiatives and share medical information knowledge and expertise.
Provide strategic insights that will contribute to product team strategy and evidence gap analyses.
Ensures regulatory compliance with healthcare ethics, policies, laws and other federal, state & local regulations.
Interviews, hires, and trains a productive medical office team and conducts performance reviews
Maintains and manages all filing and organizational systems for the practice.
Ensures patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and developing process improvements to prevent recurrences.
Coordinates staff meetings for administrative and clinical staff.
Coordinates logistics for internal and external meetings and conferences

Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure the purchase, storage and supply of all items is operated safely, appropriately and economically, consistent with quality at pharmacy, ward and department levels and with reference to legal requirements, clinical appropriateness, transit, security and conditions of Chemical and physical stability.
Maintain records for purchasing, quality control and dispensing to the standards required.
Provide advice and direction as required to medical and nursing staff on the proper and economic use of drugs and alternative types of drugs and medicines include participation in schemes for the dissemination of information in relation to drugs and drug usage.
Participate in the hospital’s Medication Safety & Therapeutics Committee and other hospital committees, as required.
Ensure that the needs of the patients and professional staff are being adequately met by the Pharmaceutical service and are delivered in a manner that respects privacy and Confidentiality.
Work in collaboration with Medical, Nursing, Management and Health and Social Care Professional staff towards the development and implementation of evidence-based Medicines management policies.
Work with prescribers and other healthcare staff to implement good clinical pharmacy Practice to ensure safe and efficient use of medicines; including documentation of the effect of clinical pharmacy services.
Develop training programs & conducts training sessions on inmate grievance & management audit processes; advises institutional personnel in writing or through training sessions of changes in laws, rules & procedures concerning inmate rights.
Through subordinates: supervises the safe and efficient transport and disposal of solid waste.
Coordinates solid waste processing operations with planning and engineering staff to ensure the success of new programs and facilities; analyses field operations and formulates improvements to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; performs long-range planning for staffing needs, equipment replacement, and other operational requirements.
