• Plan operation of the mechanical section, set up priorities and improve work order.
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
• Meet mechanical maintenance financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling of expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
• Create cost reduction programs, increase workers and machine efficiency.
• Coordinate with another department for any maintenance work and also manage the relationship with contractors and service providers.
• Maintenance of short, long & broken deflaker pumps.
• Maintenance and inspection of pulp chest shaft, sleeve, and bearing.
• Routine maintenance of centrifugal high-density cleaner.
• Maintenance and planning for the up-gradation of vacuum pumps.
• Installation of Suction press and drying press rolls.
• Maintenance of spider rolls and core chuck for the tissue production line.
• Installation of a heat exchanger for dry and wet hood burner lines.
• Dismantling and installation of main lines for the dry and wet hood burner lines for the Yankee dryer.
• Inspection of pressure seals like O-rings, o- ring boss seal and gas kit.
• Installation and maintenance of LPG gas line for dry and wet hood burner, which can support temperature from 250 to 550 degree Celsius.
• Thermal insulation of burner suction and discharge line.
• Planning for scheduled maintenance and shutdown maintenance.
• De-scaling of vacuum pumps and pulp lines.
• Manage a list of critical spare parts.
• Calibration of steam line safety valve.
• Inspection of multistage air compressors “Atlas Copco & Hanshin”. Inspection of compressor oil, oil filter, air filter and pre-filter for dust filtration.
• Leads in commissioning of new HVAC equipment.
• Maintenance of Honeywell equipment and control panels.
• Train new workers recommended workers promotions and disciplinary action.
