I have about seven years of experience with NGOs/INGOs with expertise in Livelihoods, Relief activities, post-conflict reconstruction and Research work. The detailed summary is as following:
Management:
I have worked on different managerial position where I managed implementation and financial matters as part of my responsibilities. I have managed large teams during relief and recovery phases in conflict affected areas and IDPs camps.
Research:
I have both academic and organizational research work experiences. I have conducted research studies during masters and MPhil studies. I have also been part of data collection teams in research projects of International Islamic University, VPPD and Coffey International. I have also conducted small scale research and monitoring reports for the organizations where I worked.
Fields of Expertise:
I have majorly worked in Livelihoods and post conflict reconstruction with ICRC and USAID funded projects. Additionally, I have experience in education/peace education projects and HIV/AIDs and WASH. I am a certified Trainer on Peace Building and Conflict Transformation from Hacettepe Univerity, Turkey.
• Field data collection/ needs assessments of farmer communities in connection to natural resources management
• Participation in community meetings with different stakeholders including farmers, community elders, religious leaders and local administration.
• Formation of CBOs for carrying out various project implementations activities with the community
• Arrangement of trainings for both male and females on poultry management, orchard’s management, small business and agricultural lands management. The trainings were provided with the technical assistance of Agricultural Research Institute, D. I. Khan.
• Conducting post-implementation monitoring of all the community based activities.
• Regularly monitor and analyze mainstream media (tv, newspapers) and social media on issues relevant to conflict and violence reporting/coverage, and regularly generate reports
