-Steel sector in manufacturing industries needs an uninterrupted and enormous amount of water and compressed air supply.  Amreli steels Limited recycle 100 percent of water consumed during its rebar manufacturing process. -Utilities section consists of wide range of pumps, cooling towers, compressors, boiler, and water treatment plant. Currently I am leading team of Utilities.  My responsibility ranges (not limited to) from ensuring smooth and uninterrupted supply of utilities for the manufacturing to schedule and breakdown maintenance of each and every equipment, maintaining water quality as per recommended standards for the process, -Planning and managing inventory stock for the equipment and process, Preparation of Capex and Opex annually, monthly reports preparation, monthly costing sheets preparation, history cards maintaining for each equipment. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Rolling Mill Experience:
·         Leading shifts to make sure smooth operation with minimum down time of Rolling Mill.
·         Carrying out routine as well as planned Maintenance activities.
·         To make sure the availability and durability of equipment by application of Maintenance Strategies.
·         Provision and utilization of resources i.e. Manpower, Tools and Materials.
·         Expertise in Operations, Maintenance and Trouble Shooting of Rolling Mill Stands, Gearboxes, Centrifugal/Positive Displacement Pumps, Screw Compressors, Walking Hearth Furnace, Hydraulic/Pneumatic Systems etc.
·         Carrying out complete and timely documentation to proper manage history of each activity and equipment.
Fabrication and Machine Shop Experience:
·         Headed Fabrication and machine shops for 6 months.
·         Utilizing the available resources at maximum capacity to ensure all fabrication and machining activities are completed within giving target time.
·         Major equipment includes Lathe Machines, Milling Machines, Drilling Machines, Welding Plants and associated tools.
Spares and Inventory Management:
·         To make sure availability of both, spares and consumables, taking in loop procurement department.
·         Use of SAP MM Module for Material Management.
·         Opening New Item Codes as per International Designated Systems.
·         Raising Purchase Requisitions and taking follow ups with procurement for timely delivery.
·         Inspection of the items on daily basis as per Daily Receiving Report (DRR).
·         Preparation and timely updating Minimum and Maximum Spares list as per actual consumption.
·         Preparation of Monthly Consumption Report (MCR) using SAP.
·         Preparation of comparative statements and finalizing spare items as per available quotations.
·         Carrying out complete and timely documentation to proper manage history.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
·         Planning & Execution of Maintenance Jobs according to Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Plan. 
·         Provision and supervision of resources for Maintenance jobs (material, tools and manpower).
·         Budget Monitoring & Inventory Management using SAP & ERP Portal. 
·         Technical evaluation of the local & foreign inventory quotations.
·         Team as well as job management on job sight.
·         Involved in Annual Plant Shutdown (Turnaround Jan, 2017).
Rotary Equipment Maintenance Experience:- 
·         Major Overhauling of Steam Turbine (Make: GE, Rated Power: 6 MW, Rated Speed: 7445 RPM).
·         Inspection and maintenance activities of Gas Turbines (Make: GE, Rated Power: 26.2 MW, Units: 2)
·         Maintenance and overhauling of centrifugal fans and blowers.
·         Centrifugal & Positive Displacement Pump Complete Overhauling.
·         Maintenance and repair of Product grading screens, conveyors and crushers.
·         Technical drawings reading and application at work place.
Stationary Equipment Maintenance Experience:
·         Two months rubber lining project of Phosphoric Acid Storage Tank (internal shell) having capacity of 10000 MT. 
·         Maintenance activities of Pipelines (material: SS 304, SS 310, SS 316 etc) and pipeline related accessories like valves, flanges, etc.
·         On sight welding activities on pipes, structures, valves e.t.c according to the AWS procedures.
·         Maintenance of shell and tube type heat exchangers.
