•Lead Production department with team of 130 members including Officers, supervisors, operators and helpers to achieve monthly production target of one million liter ice-cream and one ton cone biscuits. Providing technical support to staff. • Develop and execute monthly, weekly and daily production schedules as per business demand. • Oversee plant operations and corrected production issues. • Remain in contact with Sale department to meet market demand and product quality improvement. • Remain in contact with Purchase department for raw and packing material requirement. • Responsible for maintaining and improving productivity with extensive quality and cost reduction. Ensuring that the production is cost effective produced on time and is of good quality. • Develop maintenance schedule and remain in contact with engineering department for smooth plant operation, breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance. • Take important role in new product development. • Reduced wastage of several Ice-creams. • Working in ERP environment. • Develop monthly wastage, machine efficiency and production target report • Good knowledge about recipe balancing, plant operation, planning and trouble shooting. • Good knowledge about TPM, HACCP, Kaizen, 5S. • Review all quality control issues and take suitable preventive and corrective action to solve any quality issues. • Ensure the operating procedures comply with legal requirements. * Reporting to Factory GM. ACHIEVEMENTS : *Achieved three years production target on time as Assistant Manager Production (Head). * Reduce raw material wastage from 0.9% to 0.3%. *Change packing method from manual carton taping to carton taping machine, so that labors reduced and tape quantity also reduced by 35%. *Reduce numbers of change over. *Two successful external audits without any NC in production operation * Develop several new ice-cream and improve ice-cream and Cone biscuit texture.
