I am a sociocultural anthropologist and development professional with over ten years of experience. My expertise includes research, monitoring and evaluation, social and behavioral change communication, stakeholder liaison, donor reporting, capacity building, program development, and gender integration in program interventions. I specialize in designing, implementing, and supervising research and evaluation studies, concept and proposal development, literature search and review, situation analysis, disease surveillance, data collection and analysis, report and technical writing, manuscript development, critical review and editing, coordination with stakeholders, and communication for development. I have co-investigated six multiyear operational research projects and published seventeen articles in peer-reviewed health research journals. My academic and professional interests are in monitoring and evaluating development initiatives, evidence-based programming, and examining sociocultural, environmental, and structural factors that affect the success or failure of development programs at scale.
· Coordinate, organize and participate in consultations with health facility staff and communities living around the health facilities;
· Review the international/country specific literature and, based on the learnings from meetings with community and literature review, share the recommendations for contextualized strategy for community engagement;
· Draft strategy for community engagement;
· Update and finalize the draft strategy by incorporating Jhpiego and donor’s inputs.
· Preparation and submission of study proposals and reports;
· Development of data collection manuals and instruments;
· Serve as Master Trainer and cascade training to the study/survey staff as per the study protocols and guidelines;

· Quality control of data collected and data analysis and report writing;
· Monitor and report on hospital surveillance and disease surveillance from non-project facilities (private and public sector and NGOs);
· Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance to SOPs and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
● Collect information from program teams/partners and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and develop news stories for internal publication/newsletter;
● Thoroughly review and edit outgoing reports and IEC material to ensure quality;
● Arrange and record minutes of regular internal and important external coordination meetings;
● Maintain and regularly update the reporting and communication data archive including proposals, reports, agreements with partners/venders, photos and videos;
● Coordinates with program teams and partners to collect the success stories, ad-hoc reporting, human-interest stories and media monitoring;
● Support the program team in the development of communication materials, such as designing and finalization of case studies, IEC material, and human-interest stories;
● Provide technical input to ensure integration of gender in program interventions focused on nutrition;
● Support in the development of presentations for different stakeholders including donors, partners and provincial government;
● Support in the development of social media plan and content for social media;
Provide support in identifying, engaging, and networking with print and electronic media professionals across Pakistan.
● Create, compile and submit weekly, bi-weekly, quarterly and annual reports and program snapshots;
● Nonpartisan review of IEC material and provide inputs to improve quality of the content;
● Coordinate with M&E and Program teams to ascertain and share trends in programming, highlight success stories, and identify information gaps and areas for further exploration;
● Develop success stories/spotlights using both existing program data, discrete research and primary data collection including In-depth/Key Informant Interviews and FGDs;
● Conduct field visits as and when required to collect data/information for weekly/bi-weekly reports and success stories;
● Assist M&E team in collection and sharing of information and insights. In addition, support the M&E team to identify need for research and assist in development and/or review of research designs, tools and in process of data collection, analysis and reporting;
● Document key program meetings, develop media plans and media coverage for grant/project activities;
● Provide inputs on concept/proposal development, theory of change, M&E plans and gender mainstreaming;
● Review and provide technical feedback on reports and IEC material in order to ensure quality and full compliance with gender policy and progress towards achieving integration of gender in program;
● Maintain quality control over project documentation and deliverables including M&E plans, routine monitoring reports and final evaluation reports;
Work with program teams and implementing partners (IPs) to enhance reporting capacity.
● Design and carry out research studies and data collection activities to understand contextualized drivers of conflict, violence and extremism;
● Provide technical support to the M&E team in development of M&E plans, data collection tools, and outcome-level data collection, in particular KIIs/IDIs/FGDs;
● Integrate gender equality considerations in M&E and reporting methods and tools and track and report against gender indicators;
● Develop research proposals/concept notes, data collection tools and carry out data collection and analysis;
● Management, implementation, and observation of IDIs/FGDs, including training of research and M&E teams and FGD/IDI facilitators;
● Maintain quality control over associated IDI/FGD products (i.e. transcripts, translations, and/or IDI/FGD reports);
● Closely work with Program, M&E and Communications team to conduct discrete research activities (including both desk-based/secondary and primary research) to inform grant design and program efforts;
● Support M&E and communications teams in developing performance indicators, carrying out data collection, analysis and reporting;
● Critically review project deliverables, develop project monitoring and evaluation reports and share research insights and lessons learnt.

● Plan, design and implement qualitative/quantitative studies/surveys and facilitate data collection, analysis and utilization of research data for programmatic improvement;

● Training of research teams and close monitoring and supervision of research implementation, data collection and analysis activities to ensure the quality, reliability and validity of data;
● Support in the planning, execution and supervision of periodical research activities embedded in projects/programs including client satisfaction surveys;
● Conduct qualitative data analysis, interpret statistical/quantitative data, and report writing;
● Develop/publish research abstract/manuscripts/articles in peer-reviewed research journals;
● Develop research/policy briefs and information and dissemination material for wider dissemination of research evidence;
