I am a Project Management Professional with focus on economic development and youth empowerment. I have eight years of experience in the field of project management in three countries, USA, Dubai and Pakistan. Most recently, I was working with DU as Project Management in Dubai, UAE. As Project Manager, my core responsibilities include, planning and defining project scope, goals, annual work plans and deliverables along with task definition and resource allocation. Furthermore, preparing project management plan for project activities, request for proposals for several procurements were also included.
In 2017, I worked as a Coordination and communications Officer with UK based company Palladium in Pakistan. My core responsibilities included coordination of Advocacy Accountability activities including and not limited to Provincial Advocacy Forums, Caucus meetings, Capacity Building, Budgets, Local Government engagement and Political Economy Analysis. I was also responsible for social media trainings to the district coordinators. Furthermore, I was responsible to update activity calendar work plan on periodic basis and track the progress against the agreed deadline for the field staff.
At Making Cents International in Washington DC, I worked as a Communication and Outreach Coordinator under Atlas Corps Fellowship Program funded by the U.S. Department of State in collaboration with the White House Emerging Global Leaders Initiative (EGLI) to strengthen civil society networks and nonprofit professionals in the world. In that role, I manage internal and external communications related to upcoming Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit which is a leading annual global event, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year for global leaders, who create and implement innovative solutions for Youth Workforce Development, Entrepreneurship, Technology, Gender, Soft Skills and Financial Inclusion.
At NDI, I successfully contributed to Political Parties Development Program - a capacity building training program for 2000 young political workers and members in Punjab, KP, Baluchistan and Sindh to enhance their leadership, presentation and political organizing skills. Prepared training modules, work plans, workshop agenda, project and activity budgeting, assessment and development of training curriculum to incorporate new innovative knowledge into training material were also part of responsibilities.
• To liaise with various tiers of parties’ leadership to ensure proper and timely implementation and effective coordination of the program
• Drafting programming strategies and reports about program activities, monitoring and measuring program results by using pre and post event evaluation and other M & E tools.
• Maintain contacts with international partner organizations, CSO’s, stakeholders, Donors and public officials.
• Ensure smooth coordination of program logistics such as arranging hotel accommodation, transportation, booking halls, renting equipment, etc.
• Lead and facilitate polling agent training sessions and group works.

• Drafting weekly and M & E reports on program progress for Washington DC staff and USAID

• Support research for partnerships with members of private, public, and non-governmental sectors to increase involvement in and support for the 10th anniversary of Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit
• Manage and update two websites, Youth Economic Opportunities and Youth Economic Opportunities Summit.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Summits logistics plan
• Coordinate logistical and administrative aspects of Summit and webinar activities, including responding to general inquiries, conducting targeted outreach, documenting registrations, updating relevant websites, and extending invitation letters to relevant stakeholders
• Handle Making Cents and CEOs Social media accounts
• Update contacts in customer relationship management (CRM) database
• Support in gathering and analyzing data to monitor and evaluate Summit and other Making Cents global youth economic opportunity activities
• Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with participating political parties, civic groups and other representative bodies.
• Facilitate team preparations for workshops, CSO forums, meetings, conventions and other events, including where required, coordinating travel, roundtable discussions, conferences, receptions, accommodation and other logistical requirements
• In cooperation with the Senior Project Manager coordinate the training fellowship programs, including organizing events, communications and data collection.
• Coordinate hospitality and other logistic arrangements for visiting delegations, political and government guests.
• Collect, register and maintain information on program activities, draft activity reports for DC staff and Activity trackers for USAID. Monitor activities by reviewing a variety of records, including work plans and schedules, progress reports, project inputs and budgets etc.
• English to urdu and vice versa interpretation during the program activity.
• Assist the Country Director in day-to-day activities including managing her calendar, appointments, travel arrangement and itineraries.
• Liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts.
• Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information; explaining and obtaining signatures for benefit programs
• Create invitations, letters, track responses, on behalf of Country Director.
• Assist in developing program participant attendance sheets for political parties training fellowship program and single party roundtables.
