Day to day administrative oversight of the Radiology & Diagnostics department
As a department head, my responsibility is to oversee all day to day functions of the outpatient departments, medical record department , Afghan business and the registration department both at a functional level as well from a strategic point of view.
Planning and organizing departmental activities.
Member of the JCIA Focus Group for developing strategies and ensuring compliance to applicable standards and measurable elements both pre-audit and during the survey days.
Maintaining SOPs in accordance with ISO and JCIA standards.
Training of clinical staff/ managers on JCIA standards.
Conducting JCIA tracers/ audits.
Participating in JCIA steering committee meetings to discuss non compliances and their respective corrective measures.
Planning, developing, documenting and ammending all departmental policies in accordance with ISO and JCIA.
Maintaining data for the identified Quality Indicators and ensuring the required compliance.
Acting as a front line trouble shooter and solving issues related to inpatients, outpatients, consultants and services. Preparing departmental budgets, quarterly and yearly achievement presentations and work flow charts.
Conducting and monitoring patient feedback surveys for improvement of services and reflecting the data collected on a dash board.
Maintaining the hospital's Lynx based Complaint Management System.
Ensuring facilitation of diplomats and dignitaries.
Monitoring performance of all reporting staff and evaluating them through annually through the annual appraisal system.
Liaising with other functional areas/ departments for smooth flow of services to the patients.

Taking care of all insurance matters of employees at Telenor Pakistan in terms of both OPD/ IPD/ Emergency matters as well as identifying patients to be finalized for inclusion in dread disease category. Main function was to act as a bridge between the insurance company and Telenor.
