-Responsible for planning, design, architect, deployment, optimization, performance tuning, monitoring and operations of IT Infrastructure which includes hardware, network, security, storage and virtualization


-Other key roles and responsibilities are:


- Management and administration of virtualize IT infrastructure


-Management and administration of clustered Microsoft exchange which includes its maintenance monitoring and troubleshooting/ resolution of all email and exchange server level issues without any vendor support


-Active Directory Services administration and management which include management and configuration by working with group and security policies, FSMO roles, sites, subnets, replications, security and AD backup/restoration


-Management, administration and operations of Microsoft OCS which also includes telephony services integrated with Elastix PBX


-Management and administration of fileservers, VPN servers, windows patch manager servers, DHCP, DNS and print servers


-Management, administration and monitoring of Symantec messaging gateway(Anti-spam) and Symantec endpoint protection


-IT policies designing and Implementation of Security policies to secure servers and end systems


-Design, implement, Management and administration of LAN/WLAN of corporate network including Head office regional offices and Business units by dealing with devices like Cisco layer 2/3 switches, Juniper firewalls, Cisco WLAN Controller and other different vendor devices


-Management of backup and restoration activities for disaster recovery and business continuity strategy for all the systems / services


-Application support for all IT services which includes Email, Office communicator, FTP, Wizard/CRM, Jira, IPCC, ERP and VoIP


-Management of IT helpdesk team nationwide and providing them Level 2/3 support. POC for all departments of business for issues related to IT helpdesk, Enterprise IT and all IT applications/ services support.


-Video and Audio Conferencing Support and Administration.


-Contact Centre support and facilitation for computers, accessories and software


-Assist management in preparation/ planning of Capex/Opex budget for IT department


-Evaluation of requirements for Servers/desktops/laptops and other IT equipment and services and make arrangements for procurement and coordination with vendors for procurement, warranty and repair


-Performance monitoring of IT Helpdesk team through JIRA trouble ticketing system (reporting/analysis).


-Microsoft licensing Management


-IT inventory management


-New user facilitation IT assets issuance account creation


-Employee clearance email/ domain account closure IT assets recovery


-Ensure insurance claims of IT laptops/desktops in case of damage and theft


-Taking care of repair and maintenance of Laptops and Desktops


-Participation in technology initiatives and technical evaluation and implementation of projects within Technology & Innovation department scope


- Equipment/quality evaluation/recommendation


-Vendor coordination and meetings for support of existing services/solutions and new projects


Ensure 24/7 availability of Enterprise IT Services
