• Evaluate and monitor workplace conditions for health and safety hazards/risks.
• Implement company safety policies and procedures to ensure zero harm to people, machines, and the environment.
• Inspect project sites to ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety regulations, codes, and guidelines.
• Carry out TBT and Training sessions with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee compliance with SEPA guidelines.
• Intervene to stop any acts or processes that are unsafe or do not comply with HSE policies and guidelines.
• Document reports of occurrences and record statistical information.
• Implement preventive measures to ensure unsafe processes are not repeated.
• Implement workplace health and safety programs, emergency response handling, fire safety and prevention, loss control, hazardous chemicals/materials handling, building safety, electrical safety, noise pollution reduction, and environmental protection.
• Ensure compliance with safety management plan requirements.
• Develop and implement HSE plans and procedures.
• Develop and implement controls to mitigate HSE hazards and risks.
• Investigate HSE incidents and accidents.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
• Maintain compliance with all HSE regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate & Monitor: Assess workplace for health & safety hazards/risks, implementing company safety policies to achieve zero harm (personnel, machinery, environment).
• Project Site Inspection: Ensure project sites comply with applicable safety regulations, codes, and guidelines.
• Implement OSHA Training: Collaborate with SHE Dept. to develop & deliver OSHA training to project staff and stakeholders.
• Conduct Training Sessions: Deliver training sessions for relevant stakeholders on workplace health & safety protocols.
• Oversee SEPA Compliance: Oversee compliance with SEPA guidelines for environmental protection.
• Intervene in Unsafe Acts: Identify & stop unsafe acts/processes that violate SHE policies and guidelines.
• Incident Reporting & Prevention: Document incident reports, record information in SHEQ software, & implement preventative measures to prevent unsafe practices.
• Implement Safety Programs: Oversee implementation of various workplace health & safety programs, including:• Emergency response handling • Fire safety and prevention • Loss control • Hazardous materials handling • Building safety • Electrical safety • Noise pollution control • Environmental protection
• Verify Safety Precautions: Verify implementation of safety precautions outlined in permits to work, risk assessments, and job safety analyses. 

• Conducted environmental site assessments and monitoring.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs).
• Implement Site Specific Environmental Management Plans (SSEMPs).
• Identify and mitigate potential environmental risks and impacts.
• Ensure compliance with Sindh & Pakistan's environmental regulations and ADB guidelines.
• Liaise with local communities, stakeholders, and ADB representatives.
• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement and community outreach plans. • Prepare and submit environmental reports and monitoring data.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure environmental considerations in construction. • Provide training and guidance on environmental best practices.
• Ensure proper waste management and disposal.
• Monitor and report on environmental incidents and non-compliances.

• Monitor fieldwork activities to eliminate unsafe acts and conditions of different construction activities. 
• Ensure the implementation of the project emergency response mechanism.
• Conduct safety audits to identify and correct HSE-related deficiencies.
• Promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Organize and conduct safety review meetings with stakeholders.
