As a graduate student of Business Administration from HEC recognized university, Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (KIET), I am seeking to engaged myself in an office environment at a working position in the operational areas of an organization. I want to explore myself by entering in professional world and earn a practical experience in business industries of Pakistan specifically in field of Finance to develop, enhance and utilize my maximum skills. I have an experience of internship in BAHL Offshore Banking Unit, KEPZ branch. I have conducted many projects related to finance during my graduate program including feasibility reports and analysis of financial statements.
Further, I am confident that I possess enough skills which are required at the initial stage for entering in professional world, including Computer knowledge (MS Office), a team player, an optimist, a problem solver, and a decision maker.
Moreover, I am an explorer and a self motivated person which keeps me active and helps me growing along with experiences of life. Doing a job is a beginning of my career but my goals are much more higher then what it seems.
Regards,
Maham Batool.
I had a great experience of six weeks Internship in Bank AL Habib Limited (BAHL) in Offshore Banking Unit (OBU) of Karachi Export Processing Zone (KEPZ), Landhi Industrial Area, Karachi. It is the branch of Trade Services where the main tasks were related to the documentation of Imports & Exports of the industries working and performing their operations within KEPZ.
It was a new thing to me because this banking unit is not a part of commercial banking. It is completely different from the regular banking channel; its negotiable instruments are different and it deals in all foreign currencies for all type of trades as requested by both importer or exporter parties.
The KEPZ is the authority under Federal Ministry of Pakistan, it provides opportunities to do business over developed land on competitive rates for 30 years, allows duty-free import of machinery, equipment and materials, provides freedom from national import regulations and duties.
