On  10th September,  2020,  I  joined  the  Systems  Division,  RDW  NRDI  as  Research Officer  (Electrical)  on  various  project  to  assist  and  develop  the  power  modules,  navigation and  signal  control  modules.  My  job  description  includes,  data collection  from  underwater  acoustic  modem,  battery  bank  design,  embedded system programming, data acquisition and signal processing. Since my joining the NRDI, I have been involved in various PRL and NUST projects. Lab Augmentation I am also responsible for the lab augmentation and other tasks related to the lab such as;·         Ensure that system breakdowns, failures and repairs are addressed promptly.·         Coding on various embedded platforms as per requirement of the projects.·         Implement preventive maintenance and inspection routines of electrical systems.·         Implement and test products developed in the research lab.·         Collect and log experimental data·         Carrying  out  experiments  and  research  according  to  the  protocols  laid  out  by primary researchers.·         Training the lab technical staff.·         Supervising other projects of the lab as required.

I worked   as   an   Assistant Manager.   My   main   job   responsibilities   included,   PLC programming, Integration of drives, motors and sensors with PLC. It also involved Control automation  as  per  user’s  requirements  and  upgradation  and  replacement  of  conventional systems into PLC based systems. I also excelled report writing and proposal submission for different projects, keeping backup data into server for any unwanted situation. It was also my responsibility to undertake tasks which involved simulation and designing of the system by  using  different  tools,  GUI  designing  for  different  projects  based  on  Weintek  and  Delta HMI’s. I was also tasked for VFD programming of different brands such as Schneider and Delta. I have hands on experience on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. During my tenure at  the  Creative  Group  of  Companies,  I  also  studied  and  produced  different  IoT  based projects to enable the future technology. I worked for this employer for about 3 years before joining the Systems Division, RDW NRDI in September 2021.

Abdullah also know about the working environment of field. He has internship experience in different organization.

In PTCL Abdullah successfully utilize his efforts and knowledge regarding communication side which he gather from his course subject like DCCN and CAO which is based on purely computer and wireless communication and their architecture and later his concept is more clear while study Communication System.

Abdullah also gained his knowledge by working with K-Electric because he has deep interest on power generation and power distribution side and K-Electric provide him good platform for field and office point of view.

Agri-Auto is one of the famous company in mechanical region. Abdullah also spend his time there and get quality of knowledge. Abdullah learned PLC programming and interfacing from there and utilize his subject Industrial Electronics. Also, the field instrument of electronics are come across more clearly in this field experience. I pay my sincere thanks and wishes to all of these organizations.
