Major Responsibilities,
To assess patients needs, abilities or behaviour using a variety of methods, including psychometric tests, interviews and direct observation of behaviours.
To work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside doctors, LHVs and other staff.
To devise and monitor appropriate activities regarding treatment, counselling and referrals.
To offer therapy for difficulties relating to anxiety, depression, addictions, social and interpersonal problems, challenging behaviour and increasingly, a range of more difficult problems.
To contribute in rehabilitating of patients in the community.
To demonstrate a psychological approach in their work.
To refer patients to specialists or to other institutions/ organizations for non-counselling treatment of problems.
To advise patients on how they could be helped by counselling. 
To develop therapeutic and treatment plans based on clients' interests, abilities, and needs.

Major Responsibilities,

Ensure that identified GBV cases are provided with direct psychosocial support
and internal and external referral as needed, accordingly to a beneficiary/survivor
cantered approach and based on guiding principles.
Assist the social mobilization team in the detection of the most vulnerable cases.
Open individual files for survivors, monitor the service provision and ensure that
cases under assistance receive all the care and support needed.
Provide identified women and girls both community survivors or at risk of GBV,
with emotional support.
Provide beneficiary/survivor access to immediate, safe and multi-sectoral
services through referral, psychosocial support and quality case management for
identified cases of GBV.
The Psychologist ensures a timely referral to most appropriate services available
(medical care, mental health and psychosocial support, legal counseling and
assistance, safe shelter, education and livelihood opportunities) according to the needs.
Work with the local community to organize and support community-based psycho-social activities in identified premises.
Produce and maintain accurate records and follow up action plans of the beneficiaries.
Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through specific reporting tools (Assessment Form, Psychological follow up form, referral Form, etc).
Identify specific needs on psychosocial and psychological issues of the project beneficiaries, as well as to contribute to the assessment of these needs.

sickness, food security, vaccination status of children, perception of the services,
constraints and strengths, vulnerability, level of information, living conditions, and risks related to different sickness.
